COMMERCE, CA – Nora Lighting welcomed more than 30 new sales representatives to a National Sales Training Meeting at the company headquarters in Commerce, CA.
The three-day event was hosted by Nora Lighting President and CEO Fred Farzan and Executive Vice President Jilla Farzan, and featured demonstration workshops and social events.
“This was an outstanding opportunity to personally meet with our newest sales team members,” said Fred Farzan.
“They are all knowledgeable industry professionals who do an terrific job presenting the Nora product line to key markets across the U.S.”
The reps attended daily product training sessions, but also had time for relaxation at Nora-hosted dinners and receptions.
Workshops included updates on residential and commercial products from both Nora Lighting and NSpec, the architectural and commercial division of Nora. Among the many new fixtures on display were the Iolite and Cobalt Click LED downlights; Bravo FROST LED linear; iLENE LED cylinder pendants; Cylo LED rail; Center Basket LED Troffers; and more.
Training sessions were presented by Nora staff members Chris Johnston, Alex Brahm, Neda Farzan and EJ Phillips.
“With expanding consumer demand for LED products, it is important that our sales network is up-to-date on Nora product advancements and is educated about the energy efficiency and science behind these popular fixtures,” said the Nora training team.
Social events included a highly-popular taco truck luncheon and a gourmet Persian-style dinner hosted by the Farzans.
“This event marked a turning point at Nora,” said Neda Farzan. “It was the last meeting to be held in Nora’s old showroom, which was deconstructed shortly after the meeting and is reopening as the new Nora accounting department.
“A brand new Nora Design Center is under construction and will soon be the site of sales meetings and presentations,” she said.
