Osram Launches Next Generation Cove Light to Elevate Hospitality and Retail Environments

Traxon Technologies announced the launch of its next generation Cove Light AC DIM GII solution. This indoor fixture for indirect illumination is designed to make it easier for lighting designers and architects to create more dynamic retail and hospitality environments in installations around the world.

Traxon’s Cove Light AC DIM GII luminaires are a highly efficient indirect lighting solution available in both low- and high-output versions, and in a variety of color temperatures. This full range of Cove Light luminaires features smooth, flicker-free dimming, superior color consistency, and high efficacies. Universal line-voltage input makes for fast and easy installation, while the luminaire’s compact size and slim profile allow for use in a variety of lighting applications.

“We are pleased to offer the next generation of energy-efficient cove light solutions to the specification community,” said Dwight Kitchen, General Manager, Traxon North America for Osram Lighting Solutions. “Our complete line of cove lighting solutions provides retail and hospitality clients with a wide range of options and design flexibility to create unique, dynamic lighting experiences and environments.”

Traxon Technologies’ existing Cove Light products are currently used in hundreds of diverse installations around the globe. At BASF’s business headquarters in Florham Park, New Jersey, Traxon Cove Lights produce a static white illumination that complements the building’s contemporary architecture, making the facility an energizing place to work. In contrast, Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City features vibrant elements in a whimsical retail environment; its Traxon Cove Lights are individually addressable and powered with Traxon’s e:cue control and automation technology, delivering a dynamic, color-changing light show programmed for seasonal themes and color schemes.
