IRVINE, CA – As the end of 2018 quickly approaches, SCI reflects back on a successful year. From representing a number of new manufacturers, hosting a handful of events and being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Orange County, 2018 has been nothing short of exciting.
Over the span of the year, SCI developed partnerships with many new world-class lighting & controls manufacturers, including Modulex, Barrisol, AEC Illumination, Sengled, DG Lights, and LEDS C4. These new additions to SCI’s line card will provide their clients with more lighting solutions than ever before.
Modulex joins SCI’s line card as a newly IES Recognized LED downlight and track lighting fixture manufacturer, providing an extremely exclusive product line.
Barrisol is notable for being the world leader in the design and manufacturing of stretch ceilings, and has the ability to provide an immense amount of unique design options that pair well with many of SCI’s lighting solutions.
AEC Illumination provides a number of street, urban, and decorative lighting options, and is a market leader with over 60 years of experience.
Sengled is a global innovator in LED lighting with over 200 patents, offering a number of smart lighting options and accessories.
DG Lights has been a pioneer and leader in innovative LED landscape lighting solutions since 2004, and offers a number of key lighting solutions suitable for both commercial and residential applications.
With more than 40 years of experience, LEDS C4 produces a number of high-quality pendants, wall sconces, and other decorative fixtures.
In addition to welcoming new manufacturers to their line card, SCI hosted a number of events with their other key manufacturers, including the LightShow West After Party at the tallest open-air bar in downtown LA, numerous product showcases, and the Toshiba Classic – a premier three-day PGA Golf Event.
Since giving back to the local community is a core value at SCI, the team was sure to host and participate in multiple charitable events throughout the year as well, including CHOCstruction week, the Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure, and a food drive for South County Outreach.
One last notable mention of the year was SCI being named one of the Best Places to Work in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal, which would not have been possible without all of SCI’s dedicated and hardworking employees.
Although 2018 is coming to a close, SCI is already gearing up and excited for a successful 2019.
