Two more color options added for versatile high bay

LumenFocus has added two new color options for its premium LED high bay, the PBL. Customers can now order the luminaire in Matte Black or Metallic Silver aluminum finish to go with the standard White option.

The stylish new colors add some flair to the company’s high bay line.

Each luminaire still features the highly reflective white finish inside, but the new color adorns the end caps and back of the unit. Every PBL housing/tray is precision brake formed.

The new finish choices add to an ever-growing list of options available for the company’s versatile luminaire. Every PBL is made in the USA – at LumenFocus’ Henderson, NC manufacturing facility. Buy American Act compliant options are available.

There are a host of control options available for the PBL, including  the  Wattstopper  FSP.  The  FSP provides multi-level control based on motion and/or daylight contribution. LumenFocus  pre-installs  the FSP on the end cap. The FSP is available in black to match the Matte Black finish option on the PBL. A wireless configuration tool – the FSIR-100 (sold separately) – can be used in the field to set parameters from the floor. Standard on/off occupancy sensors and photocells are also available for the PBL.

The PBL can be purchased with advanced network control options and Internet of Things compatibility. LumenFocus utilizes products from Magnum Energy Solutions and Leviton, but other control systems can also be incorporated.

It is available in four different sizes – 2-foot (standard width), 4-foot (standard width), 2-foot (wide), and 4-foot (wide). Lumen output ranges from about 8,800 lumens in the 2-foot “Low” offering up to nearly 52,000 lumens in the 4W “Very High” model.

The PBL boasts a max efficacy of around 156 lumens per watt. It is UL listed for US and Canada, suitable for damp locations. Many configurations are DLC QPL listed. Specific models also qualify to be purchased with a 10-year warranty.

The PBL is available in 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, each at 80-plus CRI. Frosted diffusers can also be purchased to minimize glare and improve aesthetics. The PBL can be cable- or surface-mounted. Boards can be conformal coated for added protection from moisture and corrosion in more hazardous environments.

The PBL’s core LED technology is powered by Universal Lighting Technologies’ Everline brand of boards and drivers. ULT’s light engines are among the best on the market – ensuring that LumenFocus can provide customers with reliable, high efficiency luminaires. Universal  has  been a lighting innovator for over 70 years. ULT is a member of the Panasonic Group  –  a  subsidiary  of  Panasonic,  which  boasts annual revenues more than $105 billion. ULT was founded in 1947.

Every PBL is engineered around LumenFocus’ concept of Re-BoardABILITY. All LED boards and drivers are completely upgradeable and replaceable. With Re-BoardABILITY, customers are provided with the ability to always secure the most efficient LED boards for their products. Customers aren’t stuck with obsolete technology as LED board efficacies continue to improve.

For customers interested in a heavier duty high bay, LumenFocus offers the PBLHD — but this luminaire is currently only available in the standard “White” finish. The PBLHD is constructed of heavier-gauge aluminum and can be pendant mounted. The HD is ideal for gyms, recreation centers – or any application where the high bay could be struck.
