NORWALK, CT ̶ EMCOR Group, Inc. proudly announces that for the 9th consecutive year thousands of employees at 60+ of its subsidiaries nationally will commemorate October Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing EMCOR Pink Hard Hats, supporting the Company’s “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” campaign.
EMCOR employees, clients, and others will wear EMCOR Pink Hard Hats and form giant Human Pink Hard Hat Ribbons at locations across the U.S., creating a powerful call to action and raising awareness of the importance of regular breast cancer screening.
Human Pink Hard Hat Ribbon Events:
- September 27 – Valley Milk and EMCOR/Shambaugh & Son; Turlock, CA
- September 29 – Banner Health and EMCOR/University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors; Tucson, AZ
- October 3 – Bayhealth and EMCOR/Poole & Kent Corp.; Milford, DE
Further, throughout October thousands of employees at 60+ EMCOR’s subsidiaries across the U.S. are wearing EMCOR Pink Hard Hats at hundreds of work sites such as hospitals, infrastructure projects, shopping malls, manufacturing facilities, and oil refineries.
Millions more people will be reached nationally in October as EMCOR’s U.S. fleet of 6,000+ service vehicles display Pink Hard Hat posters with the “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” campaign message.
