New logo and new product category enhance the popular Lightovation program
DALLAS, TX- All exhibitors at Lightovation – the Dallas International Lighting Show are invited to submit products for the 2017 Market Choice Awards. The fourth annual installment of this Dallas Market Center program, sponsored by enLIGHTenment and Lighting & Decor magazines, allows attendees to select their favorite products among new introductions at the summer edition of the show, which will be held June 21-24.
All Lightovation exhibitors are eligible to submit one new product in each of six categories: Bath, Ceiling Fans, Chandeliers & Pendants, Outdoor, Portable Lamps and a new Technology category for 2017 that recognizes architectural lighting, controls, systems and other non-decorative innovations. In a survey of January 2017 Lightovation attendees conducted via the Lightovation app, nearly 40 percent of buyers were seeking new designs or resources in the chandelier and pendant categories specifically, with ceiling fans and bath lighting evenly matched as the second most shopped categories.
“Our popular Market Choice Awards program highlights the surprising number of new product introductions in June and to honor the best of them,” Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said. “Buyers seeking new lighting and fan products will always find plenty of stylish and technically advanced options at the June edition of Lightovation.”
Dallas Market Center has also launched a sleek new Market Choice Awards logo for greater cohesion with the Lightovation brand, which was launched in 2014.
Participating Lightovation exhibitors must upload a product photo and information to http://dallasmarketcenter.com/mca/submissions by April 15, 2017, to be in the running for a Market Choice Award. Entries must represent brand-new product, introduced after the January 2017 edition of Lightovation.
Market Choice entries will enjoy high-profile exposure before and during the June market, featuring on the voting platform, though publication partners enLIGHTenment and Lighting & Decor magazines, on social media, and in a new guidebook that will be distributed throughout Lightovation. Voting will take place online and through the Lightovation app.
One winner in each category will be announced on Thursday, June 22, during the show.
